Hartcliffe

Hartcliffe congregation is based in the centre of the Hartcliffe estate. It is an outreach ministry to those on the margins of society - an estates ministry. Hartcliffe congregation is a small, mature and very active congregation. 

Sunday services take place at 11:00am and we are open to a wide range of services and worship.

Church activities
  • Uniformed organisations - rainbows and brownies meet during term time
  • The Trefoil Guild meets on a Wednesday at 2:30pm, once a month
  • Our Women's Fellowship meets every Wednesday at 2:30pm. All ages are welcome and a friendly welcome is always guaranteed. Throughout the year the ladies support the Children's Hospice. 
  • House Fellowship meets every Thursday from 7:00pm at the Manse - 51 Mowcroft Road. This is a time for everyone to engage in lively and reflective discussions. 
The Welcome Centre is a non-profit making, ecumenically led drop in centre with a shop. Opening times are Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10:00am to 12:00noon. On Tuesday the Credit Union is based at the Welcome Centre. Food for All visits fortnightly selling locally produced products, promoting healthy eating for everyone. Community Police Officers visit monthly listering to the concerns of the community. The Welcome Centre supports local iniatives financially. It also supports charities such as World Vision through voluntary contributions of from members of the community who regularly visit the Welcome Centre.

Hartcliffe congregation supports the Methodist Centre at Midland Road throughout the year. Other charities such as Samaritans Purse are also generously supported by members of the congregation.
