Welcome to the Homepage of South Bristol Methodist Church. We are a family of four Methodist Churches in Knowle, Totterdown, Brislington (Broomhill) and Bedminster, part of the Bristol and South Gloucestershire Circuit and the UK Methodist Church.
We are a Christian church celebrating the love of God and the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (see more on the page "What we believe")
Follow the tabs above for more information about each church and their regular activities.
You are very warmly welcomed to join us for worship and other activities. If you'd like to know about baptisms, weddings or funerals or the Christian faith generally, do contact me.
If you would like to hire rooms in any of the
premises please see the page for each congregation. Some of our groups are returning this month and we are welcoming some new groups as well.
Minister : Rev. Sally Spencer
September brings change, and you can feel the change in the air as well as knowing that schools are back and some level of normality is back too, though not as much as we'd like.
In our services this month we are looking at the topic of 'friendship' and some of the wisdom that the Bible offers on this. Friends are key for all of us throughout our lives, and the good news of the gospel is that we are offered friendship not just with each other but also with God, through Jesus Christ.
If you're new to this website, do have a look at some of our Sunday worship videos, and if you'd like to find out more contact us via the email address or phone number at the bottom of this page.

Latest news and events:
We can't gather together at the moment, but we can still worship God. We are worshipping again at Knowle and Totterdown churches once a fortnight, and at St Peter's every week. We are livestreaming services from Knowle and sending videos in the intervening weeks, as well as posting weekly news and worship sheets to those not online.
Do contact us if you would like to be included.
