Come to Knowle Methodist’s Cafe Church every 3rd Sunday of the month and enjoy worship that is relaxed, meaningful and informal. Bring the children and enjoy various activities, Bible stories social conversations from topics covering Life to Pokemon! We offer a selection of coffees, teas, pancakes, pastries, biscuits, fruit and more so come along. Celebrate life, The World and Our Saviour, Jesus Christ!
We believe in putting our faith into action. One of the ways we do this is through hospitality. Every Monday at Knowle we’re open for people to come, spend time with others, enjoy home made soup and other food, have a tea or coffee, and a chat. There’s no need to register below. Just turn up! You can also get advice from Citizen’s Advice who are there between 11am and 1pm every week.

UPDATE on 3.7.26 This event is on hold until further notice. Starting on June 3rd at Bedminster Methodist Church from 10am and every Wednesday after the taster. Come along and meet parents for talks, discussion and a non-judgemental attitude to parenting frustrations, practical issues and above all, understanding our kids! Free sessions and coffee !!
Cooking is both a creation and a need. However when we create we feel better and it is good for our mental health. On the other hand maybe you just want to learn. St Peter’s Food Pantry, in partnership with Oasis Hub South Bristol and FareShare South West, helps reduce food waste by providing affordable access to good-quality surplus food for local people every Tuesday from 12:30pm–2:00pm, supporting both household budgets and a more sustainable community. Classes are on June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and July 7th, 14th and 21st from 10.30 to 13.30 at £15 per head and a community meal from 12.30 to 13.30. Come get to know people, be part of the community, cook, eat, socialise.
Knowle Methodist is open on Wednesdays for prayer and meditation. If you need to pray please pop along. There will be at least 2 stewards on duty to assist if you need it. Otherwise enjoy the peace and tranquility of our many sanctuary. Be silent. Be still in an ever fast-paced world. Pray, meditate and find God as you come for whatever answers you seek.

In the Spring term Junior church looked at the theme of sacrifice with the story of the Widow’s Mite from the Bible. We made plasticine figures and built the set of the Temple/ The we carefully filmed the story with a one stop animation app. After that we had to do the voiceover and lay it over the film. It was a fun project and we understood what sacrifice means,
We held a party promoting peace not war. We made telescopes to encourage technology and using our brains. We also made rockets and space buns with colourful, swirly icing on top. It was yummy! We dressed up as Star Wars characters and watched an animation. We had lots of fun!!
Junior Church learnt about the miracle that Jesus performed to feed 5000 people with just 2 loaves of bread and 5 fish. It was a little boy that gave him his own lunch so children are important in Christian faith. We can all do things to help others. Then we prayed using our fingers. We prayed for ourselves, for others and for our world.
